Caroline’s Dallas City Guide

From designer resale to neighborhood restaurants, Dallas has no shortage of places to discover. Our Dallas stylist, Caroline Gunn, shares her favorite spots to shop, eat, and stay, along with the local stops that make up her perfect day in the city.

SHOPPING

For designer finds with a second life, Caroline loves To Be Continued, a luxury resale boutique filled with designer clothing, handbags, shoes, and accessories. It’s a favorite stop for discovering special pieces to add to your wardrobe. tbcconsignment.com

Another destination on Caroline’s list is NorthPark Center, where she loves to spend an afternoon shopping before stopping for lunch at The Mermaid Bar inside Neiman Marcus.

TO EAT

Dallas has plenty of wonderful restaurants, and il Bracco and Bobbie’s are two of Caroline’s favorites. For an Italian-inspired meal, il Bracco serves fresh takes on classic dishes, including housemade pastas and breads.

For something a little different, Caroline recommends Mot Hai Ba, an East Dallas restaurant with a menu that brings together French and Vietnamese flavors. It’s her pick for dinner at the end of a perfect day in the city, followed by drinks at Cosmo’s across the street.

For a midday break while shopping at NorthPark, stop by The Mermaid Bar for lunch before continuing your afternoon.

TO DO

Caroline’s ideal Dallas day starts with a coffee from JuJu’s Coffee, a neighborhood coffee shop in East Dallas, followed by a class at SESSION Pilates. She has been going to SESSION for nine years and loves its instructors.

After class, head to the Dallas Farmers Market to browse local vendors before spending the afternoon shopping at NorthPark. It’s a day that brings together a few of Caroline’s favorite ways to enjoy the city.

TO STAY

For a stylish stay, Caroline recommends Virgin Hotels Dallas in the Design District. The hotel’s contemporary design makes it a fitting home base for exploring the neighborhood, which Caroline loves for its many restaurant options.

Whether you’re planning a visit or looking for a new local favorite, Caroline’s guide offers a glimpse at the Dallas spots she loves most. Want to work with Caroline? Contact us below!
