Over the past two decades, Lizzy has worked in almost every facet of the apparel industry from the beginning to the end of the garment life cycle: design, production, buying, retail sales, visual merchandising, and personal styling. She earned a BS from the University of Arizona in Retail and Consumer Science, followed by an AA in Fashion Design from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) in Los Angeles.

As a fashion designer for a global denim brand, she earned a valuable education in garment construction, fit, and merchandising, which enables her to know how to spot quality, what can be tailored and how, and when budgets are being wasted on excessive markups.

She began styling in 2013, and worked for small outfits as well as larger national firms. While working as a personal stylist at Nordstrom, she became familiar with countless brands and designers and was able to see garments on every body type, enabling her to make highly specific recommendations for her clients.

Lizzy lives in her native San Diego county with her husband and two children. When she isn’t chauffeuring the kids to their various activities, she’s taking advantage of the perfect weather poolside or at the beach.
